KB instructional book tour dates are set!

Hey everyone,

I am, without a doubt, my toughest critic. With that in mind, while there are some things that I wish I'd done slightly differently, I am overall very happy with my recently released book, The Martial Arts / Kettlebell Connection, published by Black Belt. For those of you new to this blog, the book is an in-depth look at using hard-style kettlebell training to improve both your general fitness and your martial arts performance. The book includes foundational exercises like the Swing and Turkish Get Up and other exercises like the Military Press, Snatch, Kossack and Windmill to name a few. Some double bell or one-legged exercises are included to help you round out your training and push you past your current limits. In addition to the exercises, the book has priceless information on how to properly recover after intense training, without which, your results will begin to diminish.

To promote the book I will be doing an instructional book tour around the country. I'll start here in LA on Sunday, Feb 20. The workshops will be three hours in duration during which I will cover a small variety of KB exercises and then explore the combative applications that are enhanced through the training. These workshops are appropriate for martial artists and kettlebell enthusiasts of all levels. And your martial art(s) of choice does not matter - kettlebells improve ALL martial arts performance!

The cost of the workshop is $100 and you get a signed copy of the book included. (If you've already bought a book I'll give you a T-shirt instead!)
